Sokkelund Sangkor will have three a-cappella late summer concerts in week 34 in Bornholm as well as the Copenhagen area.
The programme contains, e.g., Swedish and Danish choral lyrics for the Scandinavian late summer, with music by Alfvén, Peterson-Berger, Wellejus, and others. Also, somewhat darker lyrical music by Brahms and Fanny Hensel, arrangements of Carl Nielsen songs as well as two of his rarely performed motets and a preview of Sokkelund's celebration of the Danish composer Bernhard Lewkovitch, who would have been 100 years old in 2027.
